Det har ikke lykkes styret i Nye Kystlink AS å få med investorer til selskapet, grunnet blant annet uroligheter i finansmarkedet.

Styret i Nye Kystlink AS har derfor besluttet å innstille fergedriften fra og med tirsdag kveld 21.10.08. De berørte passasjerer vil bli kontaktet.

Siste avgang for "M/S Kongshavn" vil være tirsdag 21.10.08 fra Langesund til Strømstad kl. 10.30. Skipet vil returnere fra Strømstad til Langesund samme dag. Ankomst Langesund kl. 18.00.

Styret jobber for en styrt avvikling av selskapet.

The Nye Kystlink AS administrative board, has not succeeded in reaching out to new investors for the company.

The administrative board has therefore concluded to cancel the ferry service, starting Tuesday evening, the 21.10.2008. Nye Kystlink AS will inform all affected passengers.

The last departure for “M/S Kongshavn”, will be Tuesday from Langesund to Strømstad 10.30 AM, and return from Strømstad at 2.30 PM to Langesund. Arrival in Langesund will be approximately 06.00 PM.

The administrative board is aiming towards a orderly liguidation.
